Time Magazine Has Named Fenty Beauty One Of 2017's Best Inventions

Despite being a long time coming, 2017 was the birth year of Rihanna's debut dabble into beauty, Fenty Beauty. Prior to its launch, there was a constant buzz surrounding the collection's Pro Filt'r foundation, which was released in 40 different skin shades. Then, from the day it dropped onwards, Fenty Beauty continued to wow both the make up fans and industry professionals of the  world, with the extra help of some incredibly beautiful highlighters, contour sticks and a red lipstick that suits everybody just to name a few.

So when it came to Time Magazine working to create their list, The 25 Best Inventions of 2017 - an unranked list of incredible releases that the year has brought into the world - it's probably unsurprising, if not ever-affirming, to us Fenty fans that the brand made the cut. Sat as the only beauty invention on the list, Rihanna's beauty line is accompanied on the list by some of the year's most wonderful innovations in health, technology, gaming, and more, and goes to show just how big (and needed) the singer's step into cosmetics has been.
